She was late 50's/early 60's and had NEVER held a job of any sort. Career student and had no intention of stopping or ever paying any of them back. Just keep at it going until death. So long as she stayed in school with a minimal course-load she could keep deferring existing loans, plus piling on new ones for next year. Here the student loans cover tuition, books ect plus living expenses. Think ya can survive on $705/week ?
