Not even close. Whatever else could be said for their voices here, there's nothing in the one (cvxjet) that is anything like the other (sourmash), and vice versa. The distance between them in outlook and temperament, as evidenced by their voices here, is not a matter of just feet or kilometers, but of years. Light years. They are light years apart. Like the distance from here to the nearest star that's not called the "sun."

I don't believe that they are the same, or even related in any way.
However they did have a few commonalities:
- They both claim to be the only "True Conservative", while arguing against conservative positions.
- They both employ leftist tactics such as incessant misinformation and revisionist history*.
- They both go on almost Uhlanstan level diatribes from time to time.
Those are the characteristics that immediately come to mind.
*Maybe revisionist isn't the best choice of words. In order to revise something, one would fist have to be aware of it.[This message has been edited by williegoat (edited 03-19-2022).]

Some have questioned whether snarky is a real word. There can be no doubt that it is; the adjective has been recorded in English since 1906. Its original meaning, “crotchety, snappish,” has largely been overtaken, however, by the far more frequently-encountered sense “sarcastic, impertinent or irreverent.”

I'd be one of those questioning that. Just not in my vocabulary but then, I don't get out much.
