Current, or prior?

Currently. I don't think any sane person would follow anything we do, and anyone that is should be suspect.

But go back to the stuff that built this country, and you've got a recipe for great growth, and great people.

Including slavery?

Not really trying to start a s---tstorm. I just wanted to express a thought that came immediately to mind. Maybe it's because a few hours ago, I saw a report that there could soon be enough votes in the U.S. House of Representatives to pass some kind of Reparations bill. I didn't look at the article.

No, that would be following China's example. The US example was to abolish slavery in the 19th century.

The US House plans on stealing from some citizens and giving it to a select few because of the color of their skin? Isn't slavery when one group steals the fruits of the labor of another?

Isn't it ironic that the 13th Amendment abolished slavery and then the very next Amendment, the 14th, is the one that prohibits government from doing something as asinine and illegal as giving "reparations" to any "special class" of citizens it tries to create?

Now back to the Ukraine......

Reason and argument, dialog with a sane leader by a sane leader.
Yeah, sure, that could work.

Unhappily, in 2022, failing to destroy nine of ten Russian combatants conventionally will trigger Putin's launching, because he's nuts.
A former KGB colonel raised to Russia's military leader, insanely desiring turning to the past for glory and personal wealth, a sick narcissism, his twisted noodle.
An appeal to calmer and wiser, more mature, Russian military commanders to decapitate that wingnut, to avoid the destruction of Moscow and St Petersburg, the Armageddon Doctrine, MAD.
Under the Bombs
Retaliation for BW attacks, tomorrow, sooner than later.
' We do have the the nukes to destroy all of the population, the entire military and politburo, for peace. '
' This might get loud ' ' to solve the problem, destroy them. '

America has to create new incentives for people to persuade them to join the military now. They're offering free transgender surgeries to one group.

Russia, not so much.

Please don't tell the Russian conscripts that, they may want to change sides.

In more ways than one.
