Carbon dioxide hysteria (Page 162/170)

I'll have to PM the Electric Viking on that.

Whenever rinselberg starts posting random crap, look around. There is something he doesn't want you to see.

Just like his recent thread about gun confiscation, he thinks he is being clever.

Let me fix that for you.

He does not say anything about all the East coast wind farms which are being cancelled. Nor the cost.

Wind energy developer Orsted is writing off $4 billion, due largely to the cancellation of two large offshore wind projects in New Jersey whose financial challenges mirror those facing the nascent industry.

They cite tax incentives from your wallet.

Offshore wind costs double for consumers as New York keeps early projects on track

Budget office projects Biden green energy plan will cost much more than initial estimate

Eh, what's another trillion dollars ?

Another "freebie" that's good for the next 30 days!

Do you mean threatening rinselberg's climate goals ?

Many utilities have forecast this spike in demand, and skeptics have long pointed to the inability of our grid to keep up.

Are these data processing centers sucking electricity from Joe Six Pack and his families ? Make them build their own solar farms.

I guess the Earth will end quicker now.

We need to restrict access to the internet. Licencing, background checks and #FF0000 flag laws. Nobody NEEDS 32GB of RAM!

Not unlike the rest of us, who figured that it was an exaggeration - or a "myth" - as soon as we heard it.

We've been hearing about Ice Ages, rising sea levels, more hurricanes, acid rain, ozone holes, global warming (which later became "climate change", in order to hedge their bets), etc., etc...
I remember hearing about this BS when I was a child, 50+ years ago. It's all baloney.

"We're all gonna DIE!"
Well, yeah. eventually. It's an absolutely certain side-effect of being born.

Good! Let's all go out and buy an electric car, now that prices are down, so that we can crash the grid in the most spectacular manner possible.

While we're here... The new Rivian EV plant that was under construction in northeast GA has been "put on hold". We all know what that means: "It ain't gonna happen." - at least not for a while.
People have come to their senses.

OK, now that is a myth.

Climate Crazies appear to have a mental illness unique unto themselves.

Despite the hare-brain predictions and fear mongering of apocalyptic disasters that never come to be, they continue to be "true believers" no matter what.

If you checked in with "The Pig-tailed Princess of Planetary Panic" despite her failed prognostications you would doubtless find she's still spreading atmospheric paranoia .
