As much as I am really enjoying all the Democrats sweating about this... the reality is, this is probably all just because there's no organization or adherence at the administration level. "Rules for thee, not for me."
One thing is for sure... for all of the people we're looking at right now, the only one that had any authority at the time was President Trump. So if the Democrats thought somehow they might bend the rules and at least TRY to charge Trump with something... they'd now have to try Biden, Pence, and Hillary too.
Another thing, Democrats... through this nonsense, have now created a new set of standards by which they are going to be forced to abide by in any new Democrat (and Republican) presidential administration. |

I agree with the "Rules for Thee and Not for ME".
Reference the second quoted sentence, we know the Dems would love to charge DJT with some felony making him ineligible to run again but, should they do that, the What About Hillary and Ole Joe could throw a wrench in the works. I always felt HRC should have been charged for security breaches but, the FBI director didn't agree, said she had no intent.
Show me DJT's intent............. I won't even ask for anyone to show me Ole Joe's intent (I doubt Ole Joe even understands the issues) but, I am concerned about Hunter having access to anything important. Drug addicts will sell their mother's soul to the devil for a "fix" of the right kind.
Reference a new set of standards, for a short time, maybe. As I previously said, Power Corrupts.

Well, I guess Ol' Joe is sending tanks to Ukraine.
Does anyone think Zelenskyy might be blackmailing the Bidens?

Didn't I read somewhere that Hillary Clinton had one of her home staff bringing her printed documents she printed from the email server? You know the one she destroyed to keep from going to jail?

Wouldn't that be something if it came to light.

Let's look at N per T, where N is the number of documents with classified markings, and T is the number of days that Biden (or Trump) were (have been) on the federal payroll with access to classified documents.
It could be described as their Career Mishandled Documents Per Diem.
As things stand now, between Trump and Biden, Biden has a much smaller "Per Diem".

Your a funny guy.
Biden has been on the Federal payroll for close to sixty years. Trump four. That puts a different light on what you think you said.

A different light? My "N/T" formula is not the result of a penetrating analysis (on my part) into the issues attending classified documents. And I offered it without intending any particular "gravitas" in term of its relevance. But here's the math. This are the last numbers that I'm aware of, from a CNN report dated January 11.

Taking Trump first, I see N = 160 Secret + 60 Top Secret = 220, and T = 4 years = 1424 days (approximate, but close). So Trump's N/T = 220/1424 = 0.15 per diem.
Now, Biden. I see N = 12 and T = 60 years (roughly) = 21360 days (roughly), for a Biden N/T of 12/21360 or 0.0006 per diem.
On this basis, Trump is 0.15/0.0006 or 250 times more egregious than Biden, in terms of unauthorized document retention per day of federal employment.
Of course, these are just the numbers of documents that were reported in CNN on January 11. I don't know how the numbers might have changed since then. I wouldn't think that Trump's would be any different, but Biden's? Could yet another trove of classified documents have been turned up that are linked to Biden, but there's not been public disclosure?
I just have what's been reported publicly.[This message has been edited by rinselberg (edited 01-26-2023).]

The media initially reported the numbers of Trump as "files", but Biden's numbers were reported as "items".
Were Biden's "items" actually folders, or were they boxes or filing cabinets?
Why were what was found reported using different descriptors?
