People born into wealthy families have opportunities that other people can not even dream about. And it is not just getting family assistance financially. The saying "Who you know is more important than what you know" is absolutely true. Connections can make or break a career.

There he goes again men. Mr. Equity. No self made opportunities exist.
One never knows anybody important when their work boots are gathering dust in the closet.

I always needed help. My family was not wealthy and my Dad was abusive.. Nor were any participants of the vocation I chose. Many had that leg up I did not. I have failed a lot. Success is one failure at a time. I impressed many a drick head who were my supervisors. Because I got better and my refusal to give up made me better, and a better choice for advancement.

The claim that the only reason some people fail is because they are lazy is not true.

You are right, the world never promised a rose garden.

The claim that the only reason some people fail is because they are lazy is true.

So you say. That is fallacious.

What does CNN (Counterfeit News Network) have to say about DEI policies ? They interviewed seven DEI experts and industry leaders and asked each to define diversity, equity and inclusion. Although their responses varied slightly, most had a shared vision for what constitutes DEI:

1) Diversity is embracing the differences everyone brings to the table whether it’s someone’s race, age, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability or other aspects of social identity.

There it is, social identity ! someone’s race, age, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability or other aspects of social identity. Not what's best for the company or the Nation.

2) Equity is treating everyone fairly and providing equal opportunities.

There it is, warm and fuzzy. I have a solution. Everybody who applies for a job be given an interview. We know why that is not given.

My best job interview was the one I made happen. I applied at the same job, every week. With out getting hired. Damn the good opportunity. It was realized I wanted the job. I got it.

3) Inclusion is respecting everyone’s voice and creating a culture where people from all backgrounds feel encouraged to express their ideas and perspectives.

There it is again men. Social identity. The inclusion argument suggests that a culture where people from all backgrounds are not encouraged to express their ideas and perspectives. I can honestly say I have learned from new "green" employees. I never waited for encouragement. I never feared disagreement of my ideas or perspectives. That I expressed ideas probably created opportunity.
Daniel Oppong, founder of The Courage Collective, a consultancy that advises companies on DEI, said DEI was created because marginalized communities have not always had equal opportunities for jobs, or felt a sense of belonging in majority-White corporate settings.
There it is yet again. Affirmative action. A rose by any other name ...

The Dempartie surrenders in November, blm, antifa, all the marxist front organizations capitulate to avoid impending violent obliteration.
Hundreds of thousands of prisoners, marched and railed to the far Arizona Border limestone quarries, to begin their seven years of hard labor, building the wall.

You're right Patrick!
They've really let it get that bad is small-town USA.
The incumbent administration should be ashamed of the mess that they have created.

I'm happy you're finally waking up to the problems of liberalism!

No it is not.

That is total bullshit. There are poor people working multiple jobs just to make ends meet.

Trudeau is in his own class of stupidity and I will not be sorry to see him go. He was just as unfit to lead a country just as was Biden/Trump.

If they're working and motivated to work, then they being are successful.
They may not have yet met their goals, but they are doing what it takes to achieve them.

No one has a goal to work two jobs just to make ends meet.

You guys have no connection to reality. You don't understand the real life struggles a major portion of our society goes through just to live paycheck to paycheck.

And that is why Republicans have been losing so much power across the country over the last 6 years. You let a man born with a silver spoon in his mouth brainwash you into labeling all poor people as lazy trash.

Ohio leaders dismiss claims of migrants eating pets

quote

Leaders in the US state of Ohio are trying to douse baseless rumours that Haitian immigrants in a town there have been eating residents' pets as food.

The allegations have percolated up through right-wing media and were amplified by Donald Trump at his presidential debate with Kamala Harris on Tuesday.
