My New Toy (Page 1/1)

So I sold my last Fiero off in 2017 and went 6 years without having a "fun" car. Life has changed a lot for me with all 3 of my kids grown and it was time to get another toy to have some fun in. I looked at a few Fieros, however I've always loved the C5 Z06 Corvette. I looked for months in late 2022 and finally in March of 2023 I purchased a 2002 with 20,477 miles on the clock. I had a blast with this car the past season and really enjoyed my time behind the wheel. Cool thing is, I've seen a few Fiero Friends at car shows, so it was nice catching up with folks again.

That's a beautiful C5 Z06. Reminds me of my uncle's '95 C4 Corvette which my fav back then. Too bad he had to sell it in 2005. I'm coming over to help him mount the suspension and steel wheels onto his Wrangler and I'll ask if he still has some photos of the C4.

Old post but still congrats on the new car! What really makes me jealous though, is your garage... Man I would give both my nuts for a house with a garage. Even a small one - as long as it would fit my Fiero.

Almost matching colors on the vette and Silverado!!
Small is a relevant term when it comes to garages. American 2 car garages more than a decade old, unless custom built do not accommodate 2 full size vehicles very well and do even worse if you're like me and have a full sized truck as well as a smaller 4 dr car.. (wife drives a 2013 Dodge Dart and I drive a full 4 dr F-150) They'll fit, but barely, in both width and length. The truck can only be pulled in, not backed in, otherwise the overhead garage door won't close. I might post pictures later to illustrate why.

But anyway I'm sure you enjoy your Corvette as much as I did my 61 vette so many decades ago.
