i used to see an Avanti near me as a kid. My brothers wanted one.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Studebaker_Avanti------------------ Astronomy says we will find a coded signal from outer space. Then we'll KNOW that life exists there, for coded signals aren't by chance.
Biology says there are coded genetic signals in every cell, but we KNOW that no intelligence created life.
I'm the original owner of a white ' 84 2M4 purchased Dec 10, 1983 from Pontiac. Always garaged, no rust, 3800SC, 4-wheel drifts are fun!

l was crazy for the Avanti back in my early HS days- one would drive by me walking to school- apparently to drop off someone.
The Avanti was definitely ahead of it's time- bottom breather with no big grill, and very good visibility with the windows all around- Also, the dash was driver-centric.
Studebaker was definitely on a downward trajectory in the early 60s- to little to late....The Avanti would continue to be manufactured by numerous small companies for decades....
