Cobalt Gear select labeling change? (Page 1/1) retroman APR 17, 03:57 AM I have a 2005 Cobalt that my wife bought brand new. It is a floor shift car (not sure if column shift was even available.)Recently, I had to get the gear select assembly changed as the old one failed to release the ignition lock when in park. When I got it back I noticed there was a change in the labeling. The old one read P R N D 2 1. The new one reads P R N D I L. Out of curiosity, does anyone know when GM made the change?
