          | This is the second time I've noticed our back up car is using a good amount of oil. I keep it changed frequently, left on a 1000 mile round trip, checked it on the way home, was a bit low but within operating range. A few days later, this morning, the oil light came on, bone dry.
There isn't any sign of leak at valve cover, drain plug, filter, under the car, tail pipe. I did see mention on a Galant thread of the main seal where oil could be passing to transmission. I'm thinking a leakdown test and change coolant to see if I can find a sheen. There hasn't been any evidence in the oil of coolant to date.

          | Not sure, swapped to synthetic high mileage, did not seem burn/disappear any longer. Sold the car a few months back. | |
