Evidently the 8 quart oil pan won't fit.

Had to go back to OEM. Not as easy as it looks! The pickup tub had to be changed too. This is also when I found the 400 crank hit the pan where the block was clearanced. Ugh.

Now that there is something for everything to sit on I figured I would put the motor and tranny together and in. It rained so it was perfect for cleaning up the trans in the driveway with Purple Power during the rain.

So the guide pin for the throw out bearing was hitting the fingers on the pressure plate. The instructions say "may need to be cut to fit" I hope this clutch performs better than the customer service. They sent it to me drop shipped from Korea with the pressure plate unpainted. As much as I paid for this thing I expected it to be as advertised. After much ado, they finally agreed to paint it like it is seen as advertised on their website.

I have a friend who is a professional welder. He said he would weld the motor mounts for me.

I'm going to make the front top radiator support removable so I can get the engine in and out easier.
I had to replace the battery side wall first. The PO hacked it out just to sell it. A few choice words.
I'm also working on mounting the radiator.

The engine is also going together.
