I'm sure you've seen this company but this is where I used to buy any hard to find Corvair items for mine:
https://ssl.corvair.com/use...egory=online_catalog

I used to have their hard catalog but their website is very confusing.

i actually hadn't yet. this is helpful if i had money rn. the 460 kinda ate up everything for this month already since it just had to strand me 500 miles from home. go figure right? ill definitely order some bits when i deem the engine saveable or not since its still stuck pretty solid. im hoping to avoid pulling the heads since i dont think i can/should reuse the headgasket and im not sure if its gonna help since i still dont know if the engine or trans is stuck. so im pulling the whole drivetrain out as a unit just like a fiero so i can really assess my options but its not looking good for keeping it remotely stock (which is fine but its gonna take longer unless i can find the vw trans i want to adapt a subaru motor in)

I owned this 65 convertible before the Fiero came out. Had the 110 engine with the 140 dual exhaust.

The funny thing is that when I first saw your screen name, I thought "hey, this guy is an expert with Carter Carburetors" I had no idea Carter was your name.

Now you have a Corvair which is ironic because Carter made carbs for the turbocharged Corvairs. They were the Carter YH model.

Well, I guess this won't hurt to share. Here I am in 1986 with my 1960 4 door that I restored. Gotta love the 80's clothes and hair

actually my name is Matt, ironically the same name as the ex husband of the lady i got this from and past 2 owners of this corvair one of which being her dad.
i call myself cartercarbaficionado since i was turning feedback carters to standard carters and running ford 300s to valve float around the streets watching them beat up on hondas because its funny to watch a 85 extended van with a turbo i6 beat turbo hondas off the line and to 110
these carbs on mine are well...junk, the casting is ok but all the linkages are turning to dust so ill probably end up doing something else if this engine ever gets unseized which im starting to doubt. so i have found a few reverse rotation engines and this might end up getting a 4.3l v6 with a boat cam to make it reverse rotation since its cheap and makes it run faster while i try to find parts for cheap to make the numbers matching motor cooler

had a 1/2 dozen corvairs all 65 or 66
back when a prefect 35000 mile car was $200
all 2 doors and 110's most autos
was cheaper to find a new/old one then do simple fixes 25 50 or 100

66 4 speed is the one to get as the 65 had a weak out put shaft my car broke
so they put the rockcrusher guts in the 66 vair 4 speed
a buddy had one with a 350 swap in the back seat area

they rust bad
the pushrod seals leak oil
carry a spare fan belt always
