Just wanted to mention I've been told that the description (links) of the stall converter I posted is kind of "wrong". I'm bot sure how but it seems its one of those things that everyone has an opinion on and they are all different.

Another description is full lockup occurs at the listed rpm for the stall, otherwise at less rpm than that it is constantly "slipping", which means can get hot while putting around town.
