My wife really wanted a pearl white BRZ. We looked at and test drove a few BRZ's and FRS's. Felt like the dealers didn't really want to sell them. She ended up getting another Mini Cooper S, and this time splurged for the John Cooper Works. Was a few grand less than the Subaru with our Mini owner loyalty and a bit of haggling from the Mini dealer. She also says it is much more fun and engaging to drive, her words.

I test drove the frs I'm the rain and loved it, I may end up with one down the road but I don't do "new" cars.

I never came back and updated, but I ended up buying a BRZ back early in the summer.
The steering and ability to place the car on the road, right where you want it, is just incredible.
I still wish it had about 50 more lb-ft of torque, which I knew when I bought it. Still, it is a LOT of fun out on the road and especially a twisty one.
