So do I.
The Subie has different suspension tuning. Supposedly a little softer ride, and a little harder to "get loose". It's also more expensive. Both of them are designed to be "drift rockets", however.
I would imagine that the boxer engine can be modded to hell and back. Subaru folks would know.

Okay so the claims of the worlds first horizintally oppossed boxer engine is justified by the next line in the add " with D4S direct and port fuel injection technology". Apparantly no boxer engine has come with that stuff before this one.
I have to agree with Roger though. When I first saw the add I was thinking "WTF? There have been ALOT of cars with Boxer engines.".

a few years back Toyota bought into a large part of subaru.. this is the first car they have designed togeather.. i'm sure we will see more.. and Khw hit the nail on the head.. this is the first direct injected boxer engine.. the engine specs are pretty impressive for a 2.0L engine.. check it out here.. http://www.scion.com/cars/FR-S/specs/.. 12.5:1 compression on pump gas!!!

Almost 27k for the auto with paddle shifters and 26k for the 6 speed manual. I been checking into them. I love the look. Come pretty loaded too for those prices.

I love the fender bulges like for aggressive big tires. They dont come within a foot or two of the tire tops....lol. The only way the tire would come up to fill that bulge is if you dropped it on the ground from an airplane. Sorry, I just dont like asian cars styling but thats just me. I dont get why they make these huge fenders, big cutouts and put Hot Wheels toy tires on them. They look like Mustangs/Camaros with riding mower tires. If you want those big power bulges, lower the body down to where they look functional at least.

I believe they have it at that height for regulation purposes and what not, with the expectation being that everyone who buys one will lower it.
