Welcome to the forum. I'm located about an hour from you. Yes, most members have come up with names for their rides.

Here's some ideas, Casper, Stormtrooper, Stay-Puff, Snowball, Betty White, Marshmallow, Great White (not sure if any of these are taken yet)

My name was actually chosen by an existing member years ago.

I just refer to mine as the '84, the '86 & the '88. Don't rush the process; depending on the validity of your "trusted steed" assessment you'll undoubtedly think of many names likely in the format of "______ car".

Family members refer to the orange(ish) Equinox as "pumpkin" but it's more burnt orange? than orange...

I've named a few - but not all - of my cars. My Fiero is "Cookie Monster", due to the color. (It was painted that color to match the speaker grills. IYKYK. )
My Ram crew cab is "the white whale".
And then there's "BaaBaah" (the black Jeep).

One of the ladies (huge Star Wars fan) near me has a "rescued from the grave" Indy that has been painted with black highlights (wing, ground effects, wheels), I believe named "Stormtrooper".
But she's far enough from y'all that it shouldn't matter.

A side note: She's never hit anything with it.

As David mentioned, I too refer my vehicles as Make/Model/Year, but I'm a logic guy.

If you're sentimental or emotional with your Fiero, name your Fiero...

Speaking of orange... We have an old, beat up Husqvarna tractor mower that we call "Bash".
It's used to mow the "more rural" parts of our lot, that we haven't totally reclaimed from pasture land, yet. Lots of rocks and sticks like to hide...
It doesn't make too much noise.
