MSN is just an aggregator. The original article appeared on SlashGear -- if their job postings are to be believed, they don't use AI.

I can't prove it but I'm pretty sure my 85 4 spd GT would easily eclipse 112 MPH. The stock speedo would go nuts when going well over 85 MPH so I had to rely on the tach to figure the triple digit speed. On the other hand, my 2018 Colorado 3.6 is PCM limited to 100 MPH and it is capable of so much more.
