She sounded excited, and it's a good thing you didn't have to use that fire extinguisher haha, I wasn't so lucky the first day I got mine started haha, better to be prepared than not!

i was thinking the fire extinguisher should be sitting on a table nearby.

Haha... yeah, I guess the thing is... she had the engine out and on a stand FOREVER... for like, months, assembled. So she'd go outside and tinker with it, and make sure everything was perfect on it. I also had her turn the motor on its side, both ways, to check for oil leaks (like from the front timing cover, lifter cover, and valve cover), because we didn't want leaks from there either. So the engine has NO leaks at all.

The transmission does, unfortunately, have a small leak. It's not enough that it even actually drips. But you can see a little bit of fluid at the bottom-most part of the transmission. It just sits there, as if it needs a little bit more fluid to make a drip, but it doesn't actually drip. Or... if it does, I never see it and it doesn't leave a spot. The transmission is literally the only thing she didn't do herself... but it appears to be coming from the seam somewhere between the transmission halves. There's so little that I wouldn't evem mention it. But everything is pretty tight.

It's always mounted on the wall by the door. In the videos, it's right between the work bench and the garage side door with a big red arrow pointing down. She only had it with her in the car for the intro, and then we put it back on the wall again.

I am absolutely astonished at the talent level and perseverance of AJ. It a time where many young people shy away from and want nothing to do with mechanical projects, AJ comes along and shows us how. The work on this Fiero is impeccable, absolutely great work. Her presentation in front of the camera is good or better than most on You Tube. There is a bright future ahead for this young girl and she will be driving and enjoying a fully restored Fiero.
Keep up the great work AJ and thank you for sharing your project with us. I have two older sons and they show little to no interest in the car hobby Wish that we had an AJ in our family
In the closing I will say Just make sure you get that air conditioner working. Florida gets pretty hot in the summer

Thanks Dennis, I really appreciate it. You always have the nicest things to say, and I absolutely appreciate it. I read your response to my daughter, and of course she lit up. Thank you!

Great Job!!!! Its always a good feeling when the engine turns over for the first time and runs. I hope my 3800 hopefully 400 HP F23 swapped from a Automatic to a manual runs that well. I hope to have a similar look on my face someday. hopefully next year.
