Is there supposed to be a clip here? (Page 1/1)

I can't seem to find any good pictures of where the throttle cable goes. All the Iron Duke pictures I see, the throttle cable is totally trashed. I got a new throttle cable and we installed it a couple of months ago, but all it does is basically sit like this. I seem to recall many years ago on the 1984 Fiero 2m4 SE that I used to own, that there was a little clip that attached to the two little tabs on the side of the valve cover, which then had a clip on the end which allowed you to snap the throttle cable into it (to hold it). Am I just imagining this, or is there such a thing? I can't imagine Pontiac sold the throttle cable with it basically dangling over the exhaust manifold and rubbing up against the side of the valve cover?

Thanks!

I had to scour Youtube for this one. Yes, there is a bracket that clips on to the valve cover and holds the cable. Where you buy this....I have no idea.

That's funny as hell because I just saw the "item out of stock" and removed the link.
