Antenna radio wiring adaptor ... sigh. (Page 1/1)

Guys, this is a dumb question... I've ordered two wiring adapters in the past several days, and it continues to be the wrong one.

My daughter has the 1989+ cassette tape player that likely came out of a Pontiac Bonneville. It's the really nice one that still matches the Fiero's more modern interior buttons, but was never really installed in the Fiero. It has a different connector than the factory connector, etc...

So, I bought this kit on eBay:

The kit worked awesome... at least the harness adapter did. But here's the problem. Between the time I purchased it back in May of 2024, and my daughter actually installed it two weeks ago, I lost the "L" shaped antennae connector. This is literally the one that I need, and I keep ordering the wrong adapter from eBay and Amazon. It's driving me nuts.

Can someone do me a real solid, and find the exact antennae adapter cable on Amazon or eBay that I need to buy, so I can connect my factory Fiero antennae wiring to this newer 1989 DELCO radio?

Thank you!!!

So you need the one in your picture? This one should be the same:

If you are careful and have enough slack in the antenna cable you can plug in the cable, carefully bend it 90-degrees and tape it to the side of the radio with Gorilla or duct tape. You do need enough slack to pull this off. The part from Replacement Radios, however, is probably your best bet. I've purchased several from them and have Gran Prix radios from the late '80 - early '90s in all my Fieros.

(BTW, if you haven't done it or the radio is not equipped, think about installing an auxiliary jack or Bluetooth connector in the radio so your daughter can play her playlist on her phone or mp3 player.)

Metra 40-GM21, $8 on Amazon, I ordered this in November to finally get my radio working (had an aux cable hooked up so I've had it running a year and a half with no "radio" just cassette and aux)
