Gen-Z-Garage : Episode 15 - Engine Disassembly Part 2 (Page 1/1)

Hey guys, my daughter just posted her video about an hour ago. This is the second-half to the engine disassembly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2603jsREaQ

She's quite a bit behind on videos, and we're actually further ahead on the car... but I hope you enjoy.

Thanks!

Do you need some parts? What year Duke do you have? Chances are, we're going to have a lot of left-over parts (like actually really good parts, some new)... and you're welcome to all of them if you need them. I don't know yet what I'll have, but I already know that I'll have a complete set of brand new steel timing gears. I decided to go with the aluminum one because it's a little lighter, but the steel ones are still in the box.

Thanks for the comments though, I appreciate it. It is pretty cool to see her re-do everything like she has. She genuinely has fun with it...

As I posted in another thread, it would be interesting to have a whole small episode on "mistakes gm made", with your spring codes being one, and perhaps rewiring the temp gauge as another, I forget any other obvious things that they did wrong, but I'm sure there's more. This is a good guide to rewiring the temp gauge: https://www.fierofocus.com/...osails/tempgage.html

Thanks! Totally, I'll ask her to do that. Is your YouTube alias also 1985 Fiero GT? I'll ask her to reference your name, but prefer to use the YouTube commenter names just to try to keep some level of privacy for most people.

Yes, it should be something along those lines, maybe without the spaces, I commented on the last video, so you can probably find me that way.

Hey guys, I'm going to be posting some things for sale (for free actually) that are left-over parts from my daughter's Fiero project that we won't be using. Just put up a set of .030 overbore pistons, free to whomever can use them, I just want shipping.

I'll also have as set of timing gears, and a bunch of other stuff as I start swapping parts. A lot of it will be new.
