So I still have thst Mera body... it has been transplanted from a multitude of cars a d its home will hopefully be found on its 1988 t top GT I picked up a few years ago. Still debating on the engine I want to put in it... not really going for power just want to make a cruiser.... stick between doing and 3800sc and copying off my IMSA or trying my hand at a 4.9 just to have that v8 sound....

Vote 4.9 go for it!

Rick....think about what you're saying. You have a 1988 GT T-top and you want to put a re-body on it? Man, save every body panel for when you want to put it back to stock.

I would want to use a worse donor car.

Understood just keep in mind. This car is already a bucket.. very high miles and the interior is, interesting to say the least

Talk to Johns 4.9 / John Leo. You've probably already seen him on FB.
He does mounts, complete header exhaust systems, etc. Does some nice stuff.
