I'd seen that car at numerous Fiero events down in Washington State over the years. It was very nice. What a shame.

Tough little cars aren't they? Love to take that pic and shove it up an unknowledgeable Fiero detractor's a**. Glad he wasn't hurt!

A T-top Fiero may have fared less well in that situation.

Glad the passenger (s) were okay. Very nice Fiero, that's really a shame.

Many other mods and "repairs" can have bad results too.
That uses most to all crush zone for the back.
Likely done more then lock the hood on anti-guillotine bolts in front because even front wheels looked push back to the firewall like some of the Fiero crash test videos on YT.

Drop Tops and convertible even when up are often weak for any load on top too.
But Car on top likely has most of weigh on the front of the Fiero.

Think is pictures here showing this Fiero.

The current owner is going to buy the molds. He will move the parts that are usable to an 88 Fiero. I hope to find the paint code for him but I don't know where it is. The auto paint store no longer has the code. Here are some fairly recent photos I took in Astoria OR.

Oh man. Pictures like that really bring home the 'what insurance do you have?' question ...

Zoom in on the picture.....it appears to be a T-top in the photo.
