It's not like the "old" days when anyone with a Carfax account could run a whole lot of VINs at no extra cost.

I have had good luck with these guys https://cheapcarfax.net its a legit carfax. pretty sure any warranty stuff carfax promise would be voided but its $5.99 I use a gmail account per their instruction and pay via paypal. I get access to the report almost instantly. I have not seen people doing free carfaxes on forums for a long time.
