Hi reliable Fiero know-it-alls, A very reliable Fiero friend of mine ( wont mention his name but most of you heard or know this guy ) told me that he thinks a Fiero 4 speed shifter can be converted to a 5 speed by removing some type of tab. Can anyone verify this to be true ? And if so, whats the procedure ?

Does the 5 speed shifter have an springs on it ?? 4 speed has two
The photos don't show the other side of the 5 speed

5 speed shifter does not have any springs.
