Kinda Cyber-truck-ish.

I can kind of see how it evolved into the red-orange notchback styling study that is posted in various places (The one with the Trans-Am style snowflake wheels.)
If the rear wheelwell was rounded out, it would really look good. I probably would have bought one. But then, I bought one anyway.

Appears to be the embryonic phase of development.

Because of their limited intelligence, they never came close to guessing that they were making champagne." - Kurt Vonnegut

Wow that is a cool piece to have in a collection! Nice!

About the drawing in the first post, I like it, but I like the Fiero we got better.

GM in this era was in a copy Ital designs and Giorgetto Giugiaro mode in this era.

GM was wanting to do Italian design but with an American take on it. GM has for decades had copied and stolen Italian design

Case in point Harley Earl used the Ferrari styled grill in the 55 Chevy after seeing it used on a Ferrari at the Paris auto show.

Good artist borrow while great artist steal.

I am pretty sure this is another GM mid engine rear engine design only relation is the badge. As book featured was older than late 70s i thought.
