Meet the MWFC clubs!
Midwest Fiero Clubs is a dedicated group of enthusiasts whose passion is to promote and preserve the Pontiac Fiero and the Fiero Community. MWFC has organized and facilitated Anniversary Fiero Events. The Midwest Fiero clubs is a joint effort consisting of multiple Fiero clubs. In this post we are featuring one of those clubs, the Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts.

Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts was established on October 19, 1991 when eleven founding members gathered. For over the last 20 years, the club consistently maintained membership over 325 members across the U.S. and across the world. NIFE currently has members in nearly all 50 states in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Australia, and Puerto Rico. NIFE's primary method of communication to all members is the club's bi-monthly (6 issues annually) club magazine, Fiero Focus. This 20-page color cover magazine includes a feature article, tech information, club event information and Fiero community information.

NIFE's primary annual event is their car show, entitled Fierorama, which takes place the weekend after Labor Day in September. Fierorama regularly draws over 70 Fieros together to rebuild our excitement for our little two-seat sports car. NIFE's calendar also includes club meetings that take place November through April and then outdoor events May through October which include attending cruise nights, car shows, the Spring Driving Tour and Fall Color Tour.

Fierorama is one of the larger events that takes place in the Midwest. Planning for this event typically begins in January of each year and continues up until show day. Each year an event theme is determined to help us focus our efforts on making each year different from the last. We believe this is the key to the event's success. Our event begins on Friday evening with a dinner, an event for Saturday, our traditional pizza party on Saturday evening, and our big show on Sunday from noon until 5:00pm.

The title is "Northern Illinois", but do not let that fool you! They are the largest Fiero club in the world!
