Know of a good place to pick up a set of tires that would fit an ‘84?

I've bought a few sets of tires from Discount Tire Direct. I've been happy with their prices.

Did you finally buy another Fiero or just doing research?
Those tires appear to be from the late 80's/early 90's. 14" tire selection at the moment is garbage, closest thing to decent (unless you drive in wet or snow) are the BF Goodrich Radial T/A's which are available in the original 215/60R14 size

Just looked on Tire Rack and they only have two options in that size (215/60-14); BFG Radial TA (Sucks and $$$$) and the Rikon Raptor HR which rates better, is substantially less expensive and even weighs less than those TAs.....Here is the Link; https://www.tirerack.com/tires/CompareTires.jsp
In a slightly different size (That will work) 195/70-14 there are the General Altimax RT43 which I like on my Van... Link; https://www.tirerack.com/ti...&partnum=97TR4AMRT43
Slightly taller which will make your speedo more correct, and slightly narrower which will make steering effort less.

Compare their price on the same size T/A's to Discount Tire Direct. Free shipping at both places.[This message has been edited by Patrick (edited 01-19-2021).]

I had Yokohama's on mine quite a while ago, planning on going with Riken's later this spring.

The 195/70-R14 mentioned above was one of the stock tire sizes. With modern tread compounds, the 195/70 should perform just as well as older 215/60 tires, if not better.

I just bought BFGoodrich Radial TA's for my 87 at Tire Rack. At the time it was the only place that had the proper size tires. Then a couple of days later, I received a flyer from Sam's Club on an expired account. I went online and found that they had about a half dozen brands with the proper size. So, if you have a Sam's club membership, that might be a good source. Even worth buying a membership. They're offering $80 off a set or with the Plus membership, $120 off a set. Their regular price for the same BFG's I bought was $1 cheaper than Tire Rack.

Douglas tires at Walmart are made by Goodyear in the USA. $39.00 each in the 195/70-14 size. Plus install and balance of course. I used them on my daily driver PT Cruiser. Work just fine. Not a performance tire, but work good as all season tire in rainy Oregon. Just sayin, especially if price is a factor. And I am not a real fan of Walmart just so you know
