Introduction - new-to-me 87 GT (Page 1/1)
JimmyB NOV 09, 12:25 PM
Hi all, just a quick post to introduce me and my latest acquisition: 1986 GT 5spd, 55,000 miles and one doctor owner since 1987.

It’s not perfect, the clear coat has gone in places, driver’s seat is worn and the clutch needs attention, but otherwise it’s in pretty great shape. I have Rodney Dickman’s master and slave cylinders on the bench waiting to go in, then I can enjoy driving the car and getting to know it better.

Cheers!

James

[edit - got the title wrong, it’s an 86 not 87!]

Welcome to the forum, it looks nice.

Looks like your off to good start with Rodney Dickman’s master and slave cylinders on the bench waiting to go in.

Here's a link to MrMikes for when your ready to upgrade the seats. http://www.mrmikes.com/fierogt.htm

They are a bit expensive, but well worth the cost. The kits come with everything you need to install them.

Later when you look into paint, ask fellow forum members in your area that have found good shops that can paint Fieros. Some members have wrapped their cars.

Good luck on your path to customizing your GT.
