Would anyone have bought a rear caliper piston for a 1988 recently?

Can you confirm if it's just the piston shell itself? Which Rockauto say it is, or, if it actually contains all the internals?
If it really is just the shell, it may be cheaper me having it remade in stainless given the carriage and customs cost to the UK.
cheers. iain

The link does not have a pic or description but I doubt if it would be just the shell as that would be useless to most people. Here is an old thread with a part# for new inner seals, there is a thread with a part # for pistons from Raybestos but I think they are no longer available. http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/137765.html------------------ 86 GT built 2.2 ecotec turbo rear SLA suspension QA1 coilovers on tube arms

Weird, I had a pic the other day. It just shows the piston from the front face. I have all the seals, that's no problem, it's just the cost to get the pistons to Scotland, not worth it if it's just the shell as Rockauto tell me it is.

Yes it is just the outer shell.
Where did you find the inner seals?[This message has been edited by Mickey_Moose (edited 11-10-2020).]

oh well, time to build a cad model and get quotes then.
The seals I have are a mix of Fiero and Pontiac 6000 seals. From Rockauto. There is a recent thread on here, where someone discovered the inner seal missing from the rear overhaul kit is in the Pontiac 6000 kit. It's the thread wftb posted above:

I have 5 rear calipers, the pistons in two are toast.
