Well, hello everyone. I wanted to start off and say I found our old Pontiac Fiero that my grandparents got brand new back in 87 locally. It was sent to a local junkyard around 2005 after the county told my grandfather that there were too many vehicles on the property
I found it a few years ago but lost track of it and then someone approached me that I knew and asked me if we had a old Fiero at one time. Of course I said yes.. well months and months passed and I finally asked him if it was for sale, and he let me come and see the car a few or so days ago
Hoping to get my hands on it... it’s a GT

Welcome to the madness. Pretty cool you found the old car. Check underside (lift trunk carpet) for rust. After sitting for 15 years it may or may not be beyond saving. Plenty of threads on here about rust horror stories. Don't let nostalgia blind you to a car that is beyond saving. Also make sure you can get a title for it if you go for it, and not just a salvage title although people do put cars with salvage title's on the road I'd check with insurance co first re insuring it with a salvage title as some won't.
What part of NC are you in?

I’m near Charlotte
From what the current owner has told me, that there isn’t any rust
It’s a clean title that’s why he got it... from what I’ve been told
Yeah I know what you mean. I’m trying not to blind myself with trying to get this car back and if it is too far gone which when I looked at it. It didn’t seem into bad of shape
Hoping to purchase it back soon
