That looks awesome!
I have a vinyl cutter but never thought about cutting something for the dash. I know "carbon fiber" vinyl exists. It would be awesome to use that.

Vinyl cutters are getting more and more popular by the day, I use mine for a lot making decals for painting and masking but trying to explore more uses. I want to share that ability with everyone who has one too. I don’t feel there is a reason to try to profit on something as simple as this so once complete I’ll post the files in a few different formats for everyone to enjoy.
My local store didn’t have the carbon fiber in stock when i went in. They had a faux leather and wood grain available but I chose this for my initial.

I would love this, but my laying down skills to line things up may be a bit of a challenge that I need practice in. So maybe I need to invest in a vinyl cutter, because I may make mistakes applying it.

If you use a paper-backed transfer tape, you can spray the decal and the surface with a soapy solution, line up the decal and reposition it wherever you like, then squeegee out the liquid when you are ready. It will also get rid of any air bubbles.

Cut the holes but don't cut the edges it is easier to stretch pull trim than will be to lay it right in one go.
