I’m testing the waters before I start this ball rolling. How about a multi day meet up and drive in 2021? My thoughts are to meet up at a given location on Day zero. The we will make drives to:
Day 1: Crazy Horse monument and Mt Rushmore Day 2: Devils Tower and Sturgis Day 3:The Badlands
We would be doing campgrounds or hotels at all evening stops so we can all hang around and talk shop. One support vehicle and trailer with tools so we can fix cars that break is in my thoughts. We could plan it for that first week at Sturgis when almost no people are there.
Any thoughts? JR

John,
As you already know, my only issue is the 3600 mile round trip. That is a lot of driving for me (especially if I have to trailer a vehicle out there). Otherwise, I like the thought of this type of meet.

Tours are cool but tough on attendance in outer areas unless you have a Harley.
The best meets have been in PA, OH, IN,MI and IL. This is where most of the cars are and as these cars get older easier to still draw a crowd.
Ohio is over due for a Fiero Meet.

I'm interested. It would be a hell of a drive...but those are areas that I have always wanted to visit, so it isn't just to drive a Fiero to me.

I would be interested in this event for sure. Likely myself along with a family member or so, possibly coming in 2 Fieros from California. I've always loved roadtrips, great scenery and Fiero events, so a combination of the three sounds great to me!

There was a group of us that made a similar trip in 2012. Leaving after the Dells run going cross country stopping at Rapid City, the badlands, Mt Rushmore, Devil's Tower also Mt Rushmore, Pikes Peak and several other stops. It was several thousand miles road trip for me in my 87 GT as I started out in Florida. There may be some threads about that trip buried in the Forum's history.
