Yea! No more front license plates in Ohio starting July 1st. Now only if all the car shows were not canceled.

Our provincial government here in Alberta, Canada did the same thing in 1995.

Half as many plates to stamp out, had to be cheaper they said at the time.

Makes the front end of a lot of vehicles look a lot cleaner.

Big plus is that it will drive all these bylaw enforcement vehicles with all the cameras attached to them, less effective, looking for parking zone enforcement. Now them fat lazy metermaids/metermen, have to get out of their heated or airconditioned sport-cutes to write out a ticket, instead of using AI computers to mail you a ticket from the video they take driving around.

Now I have not had a front plate for 35 years on the Fiero. They never gave me trouble. But I did remove the one on my truck with no damage. The wife’s SUV it has to stay on as there are holes in the painted bumper.

Ohio State Troopers liked the front plate as it was their target for lazer. The reflective surface helps them.

The biggest pro is the sneaky cops on the freeway won't see an out of state car from far off and start writing the ticket.
