I have a real stupid question

What i have is a 1986 Pontiac Fiero with a 4 cylinder in it. My question is what model is it. The only markings on the car is 2m4 on the back lid. the serial number is

1G2PF37RXGP263931. The reason i am asking is because i need a new front windshield. The company that i will be getting the glass from is asking question i can not

answer. Thanks

For '85 to '88 the 4th & 5th positions indicate the model: PF is the S/E model.
If you Google 'vin decoder' you'll find a selection of sites where you can copy and paste the vin and get info.

All Fiero windshields were the same with a blue tint along the top.
There should be the same single part number listed no matter what model Fiero you have.

Of course these days, auto parts store counter guys want to know what engine you have if you ask about windshield washer fluid.

What question are they asking you? All Fieros use the same windshield.
