GT steering wheel worth anything as a core? (Page 1/1)

an 87GT i purchased had no key's so i swapped out the column with wheel from an indy parts car i had 20 years ago, i was going to throw out the column without the key (which still seems pretty solid other than lack of key) but the steering wheel itself is leaking goo all over and also has a huge tear in the leather. years ago when i was active on the forum more there were people who wanted cores to recover. I'm not really asking anything but shipping for this, can send the column and all if its wanted, it doesnt have any play in the tilt. from an 87GT 5 speed.
just wanted to post this up here for a few days and see if there's any interest.

Even old worn parts are useful to someone. You should post this in The Mall "free GT steering wheel - just pay shipping". There might even be someone in WV who can come pick it up.
