Pretty good article......Nice to see someone saying the truth- The '84s definitely left a lot to be desired, but every year after improved...
In the SF bay area, 90% of car enthusiasts "Know" that all Fieros are "Three-legged dogs with mange- until they all catch fire".....

If you think the 84 Fiero was the worst car of the 80's, you don't remember what was available in the 80's
Yugo Dodge Omni/Plymouth Horizon Cadillac Cimarron K Cars Chevy Chevette Chevy Citation and derivatives Renault LeCar Chrysler TC Triumph TR8 All the FWD GM cars that replaced RWD cars
etc. , not to mention all the forgettable 4-door crap boxes
Best car? Lots of better cars

The article on Jalopnik was decent, but the comments are the same standard shitshow from ignorant car "experts".
And it came out right after I posted one on Oppositelock (Oppo) about some of the misinformation about the Fiero I see every time there is an article about it.

The much smaller group on Oppo tends to be a LOT more reasonable than the posters on Jalopnik.
