I've been watching this for a while, the guy started at $11k and drops it $500 each time he relists, price is almost getting good enough to make me risk the backlash from my wife.

I realize unfinished kit cars always take more work (and $$$) than you anticipate, but seems like this one is getting into the great deal category.
Anybody in Michigan looked at this one?

General shape of the Ferrari Dino, but a bit too tall and windows too big. But, if it was finished up well it would likely fool a lot of people at first glance.
And the Cromodora wheels are likely worth a pretty good amount, even if the seller doesn't know how to spell it.
At some point, someone invested way more into this than the current seller has as a starting price.

A member was trying to sell his car what likely used the same kit, but it was a much, much better buy as nearly everything had already been upgraded (good paint, MR2 interior, fuel injected SBC). He was trying to sell it for 14K, but was open to lower offers. You couldn't make the 5K ebay one match his for 9K difference.

I made an offer of 10 k canadian for that car (couldahadav8) and I told him I did not mean to be insulting but if you dont try you get no where. He sold it for a lot more than my offer and I think his car was worth every penny. That body can be made in to something special.

I completely agree, that is a well done car. The ebay one could probably be made to look really good for about $5k (without show quality paint). With the spotless interior and really low miles, that would be a decent platform to build up something, but it also (like most kit cars) could turn into a money pit rather quickly.
I am considering it if he drops a bit more.
