Color Code Opinions (Page 1/1) nero OCT 06, 12:40 PM So I bought a Fiero a few weeks ago as I always wanted one and needed a winter project (and something to put money into and never get back....lol) Anyway, this is an awesome site with lots of great information. I am more of a 'stock' type of person so I am trying to track down the what the car originally came with. The car needs some 'love' to get it to where I want it and most likely going to need some help from you experts along the way. So I am starting out looking at the body tags to find out what the car came with / original color etc. and that is my first challenge. All the numbers on the body tag are very faded so alot of them are hard to make out. I am tyring to figure out what the original color was. Below is a pick of the car along with the body tag. For the color code I can make out WA - **55. So based on this and what I found on this site, it looks like the only color code that matches up to this is black (WA-8555). Would you agree? FYI The VIN number tags all line up and were not removed, and although the paint job is very very far from perfect they did a good job of masking everything up for the most part so hard to find out the original color that way. fierofool OCT 06, 01:31 PM WA-8555 would be Black for the 84-87 model years. My listing oddly doesn' give 88 colors but I'm inclined to believe that color would apply to them, too.
