Under 3000 miles
And it doesn't even have the original tires?
I'm not believing the miles.

Tires are only "good" for so long... this 88 is 31 years old, definitely past any tire's sell-by date regardless of miles.

Yes I expect the tires were replaced due yonage.
The engine looks right for low miles.
The under body does has some rust but that could be from just sitting in non climate controlled garage.

Or it could be from odometer rollback.
My experience tells me the mileage is not true.

A possibility, sure. Which one is the greater possibility: an odometer rollback, or maybe the owner decided 31 years was too long for the original tires?
Heck maybe its a Hurricane Sandy salvage rebuild.

Okay, upon closer look at the photos, the car has 3 Eagle GT+4's.
However, undercarriage does not indicate 3000 miles nor does the shift knob or floor mats and possibly the steering wheel.
I would like to see other wear areas closer like the arm rest, pedal pads, seat material as well as switches and knobs but what I see so far looks more like a 20,000 mile car not a 3,000 mile one.
Big dollar difference between the two and a shady seller only needs about a 1/2 hour worth of work to gain a few thousand more dollars.
This car needs a scrupulous inspection before any bid should be made.

How many old cars do you or have you owned? Also, how long have you collected cars?
