Saved an 86 GT (Page 1/3)
Rick Morehouse SEP 27, 12:00 PM
First off, I'm not sure how to add pics to a post, been awhile on any forum. Help/advice needed. I did save a nearly complete GT. It is missing the top plenum cover & the pass.side grille. Otherwise, very complete, not beat up/wrecked or picked over. Paid .020 (cents) per pound or $532.00 w/Bill of Sale for title. Have ordered the "NEW" GT lenses also. Will de-bone an 88 base coupe for suspension, add a 93 Caddy 4.9/auto. This is not "thee priority" project(in top 3) as I have others going on. I will post pics when I find away.

If you're running a Windows PC, download and install PIP to host and post images here. Max width - 1024 pixels. Max file size - 300 kb.

Have you checked the rear upper frame rails for rust?

Glad to hear that you're still into the fieros Rick. I would love to bring the boys by sometime and take a look.

Spoilt87, yep, still got a few fieros, stop by, yard is still not as cleaned up as I'd like it though.

As for the "pip" image hosting site/page? THIS AIN'T NO SLAM AGAINST ANY ONE, NOT PATRICK OR CLIFF!!! But; my wife who is much more at ease on this machine than I, we ran into a glitch as we tried to download that web page. She/we kept getting a warning of a possible virus contained in the download. Our virus protection kept warning us as she worked around or thru the steps. For us, it just didn't work. So no pics ,yet. In the end I was able to save a nice 86 "wingless" GT. Regards, Rick(and Jerry).

Have your wife read This thread.

Thanks for each persons help. Wife says I "should" be able to post pics. With all due respect, we are not able to understand/do whatever is suggested in the screens that pop up as we try to get pip going. We thank everyone for their help. Most everyone can picture a sun baked red Gt, paint faded to black primer, seats ragged out, steering wheel leather rotted off, motor shot, etc., etc. Otherwise, a really nice fiero. Regards, Rick & Jerry

Perhaps not being able to post an image is a blessing in this case!

Patrick; question. This may sound real dumb to ya, but when wife(we) were trying to download 'pip" program, I recently woke up to realize I wasn't logged into the forum! Right now we have the PIP icon on the face page of our screen when you wake up the computer to do something. "That" icon click will not connect to Pennock, nor can I get back to that icon as I write here like I am now. We've talked w/our server gurus & they told us they only keep our service going-they are not there to train dummies. Damn. Well again, would you have some advice? In advance, thanks. R&J

Rick, it's unclear to me whether you've actually installed PIP or not.

Clear as mud for me also, sorry to have dragged this on. Rick
