I had an old AutoXray scanner that gave real time data but it died. I understand that there is a method of adapting an Ipad or iphone to scan and read the data on a Fiero. I'm computer challenged so any help would be most welcome.

You can get the "dash command" app on iphone and buy a wifi adapter to plug into the diagnostic port. I had one for my 3800 swap but I`m not sure it will work on a stock 2.8 Fiero.
Nevermind, the Fiero is OBD1 and dash command is with OBD2[This message has been edited by TXGOOD (edited 09-12-2019).]

Dash command seems to be OBD2. The ole Fiero is OBD1

I still use my old AutoXray GM scanner.------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)

I use reddevil's Bluetooth ALDL on my El Camino. It works with a couple of different apps, and works OK. ALDLDroid is the better tool, but there is also ALDL Scan, another app. I think both apps work on Android. Not sure if one is available for Apple. You can also use the bluetooth adapter with a laptop and TunerPro, if the laptop is bluetooth capable. Or you can get an ALDL cable and just use a laptop. ------------------ '87 GT , '00 3800 Series II SC, 4t65e, Vue Power Steering. (SOLD)
