Might be the only time I can tolerate watching listening to what he has to say. Too spastic.

Seems like he doesn't review much from the 80s or 90s by his comments. I knew he would feel better about it once he drove it. But seems like he has that lame mentality about them, wanting to dislike regardless. I rate him a 1 out of 10.

Could have been worse, could have passed on ignorant misinformation or just ignored the car altogether. He did put the fire issue in perspective. Did the car belong to a Pennocks member?

Well, he got some small facts wrong. The Fiero was always intended to have a V6, but the V6 was not ready in '84. It was built for a V8. He did admit later that all '80's cars were lackluster on power.
30-year-old suspension cannot possibly compare to new suspension.

That guy needs to stay away from drinking >>>>>>"Tantrum"<<<<<<
He did state that the Fire problem was limited to 84s, and he did not perpetuate the "Suspension/handling sucks" myth paid for by Toyota.
He also does know how the parking brake works (A guy in a British mag test back in the day could not figure out that the handle dropped back down after setting it!)
But flipping out over the gas filler door release lever was kind of stupid...It is within 18" of the filler door!
Once again, the guy should NEVER drink >>>>>"Tantrum"<<<<<

To point out that one headlight door has the PONTIAC logo and the other hasn't is a quirk? How many other cars out there has he seen with the marque badged twice on the front end? Or back end? Or any end???

I thought it was funny how he counted however many Fiero logos there were in the interior. I wonder what he'd think of the Jeep rental I had some months ago; it had about triple that many.

Rumors of engine swaps?
No matter what vehicle he reviews, he gets a number of his facts wrong. With the volume of vehicles he reviews, I would expect him to know more about cars, in general. For the interior logos, it's as if he hasn't seen any modern car, previously. Did anyone other than Doug have a problem finding the fuel door release?
The rubber seal on the trunk keeps out engine fluids? Really?
The black grid in the tail lights obscures the lights? The lights are huge. His lack of familiarity does not make this an issue. Maybe he knows of tail lights that large, from another manufacturer, that don't have a support grid. Other manufacturers may use a red grid, and the grid may be transparent. Still a grid.
He didn't talk about the fuel tank, or the upgraded suspension.
Maybe his sample did not have a tilt steering column, of maybe Doug is not familoar with this feature, so he had trouble moving his leg under the wheel.
Just how would he expect the lug nut covers to look? That waste of time would have been better spent on driving through turns.
Maybe he could have spent the roof time talking about the space frame, and the strength of the Fiero's frame.
He was so pre-occupied with the neat balance indicator, he missed the performance options.
