I didn't know about this video. Quite interesting though. I like their design review process with the mockup; makes it easy for everyone to understand what's being explained.
Now that I understand the 1990 Fiero better, I think I prefer the original version!
The 1990 Fiero feels like a bloated body kit to replace the stock body. Things like magic plates, and the auxiliary stowage compartment make the car feel like the body has been "tacked-on", as if the overall design wasn't well thought out.
I also don't like the wheelwell liners that are placed above the fenders. I don't like for body-colored panels to be exposed to the stone/dust blast of tires.

What they ended up with the 1990 Fiero was a small Firebird. There was no mention in the video about changing the powerplant. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. The engine in the 1990 Fiero (at least the GT) was the dual overhead cam one they had in the 6000 and Lumina.
