Hello everyone, I'm back! After a 3 year absence and a few life changes I decided another Fiero was what I needed. I've tried Miatas and motorcycles but nothing can compare to the Fiero community. The cars and the people and this forum just feel like home. I decided that if I was gonna do Fieros again only an 88 would do. I recognized this pretty one for sale online and knew immediately this was the one. I knew the owner and a bit of the cars' history. The seller graciously agreed to hold for me until I could come up with the cash and I brought it home last weekend. It's a bone stock 2.8/5 spd. Also included in the sale was a spare getrag, a 4T65 HD and Series II 3800 with a VS cam installed so the 2.8 won't be staying long. This is my 10th Fiero since 2004. Any way without further ado, I give you "Blu".
Enjoy
DF

Beautiful car. Are those AR Estrella wheels? I always liked those. Welcome back.
You say only an 88 would do, but that paint scheme is of an 87. Did you make a typo or has the car been repainted?

Actually the car is an 87/88 hybrid. The space frame and suspension bits are 88 but the exterior is all 87. Previously here in Ontario a car could be 87 or older to avoid emissions testing so the previous owner swapped vins and exterior bits so he could register it as an 87. Only the body panels are 87. The important stuff is all 88 and it had a bolt and nut restoration. I really don't know anything about the wheels but I like them.

They look similar, but they're not. I have a set of the real deal.

Hey Dave! Are you still in Kettle Point? You need another Yurt for a garage for the off-lake snow don't you? Lol! What's the red fender past the RH front end of the first pic?

Yep still in KP or actually back in KP. Tried city living for a while but no likey so we leased a lot and built a yurt. That red fender is a 68 T-Bird with suicide doors. Not mine. It's on the lot next door.
