Whats it worth? 1987 GT (Page 1/1)

I have hit dire straits and am thinking about selling the car I have been fixing up. I have the clear title in hand. It is a 1987 Fiero GT Fastback. It is black with grey lower paint. The VIN is 1G2PG1193HP234010
It has a somewhat refurbished gas tank with a new pump, a new left headlight motor (both lights work properly up & down) new front wheel bearings, and fresh oil/air filters and oil change.
The body is straight and rust free (no rust holes or bubbles in floorpan) There is a tiny bit of sag on the front fascia holes. It is the V6/auto. The tail lights have the typical delaminating and cracking, but are complete.

NOW, The problem with selling this car? I have gutted the grey interior. There is not much left on the car that it doesnt need to drive. No more HVAC. I have pulled out close to ~300 lbs from the car. I still have many of the parts that remained intact when pulled, to include the passenger seat and some of the HVAC stuff. I was prepping the car to have a 5.3 transplant and be my 100% no frills fun car. I imagine this puts the car into a niche very few individuals are considering buying.

So I am reaching out to this forum in the hopes I can get a good idea what someone might be willing to pay for the car. Please if you have any advice or idea how I should price the car, leave a reply.

No interior most definitely makes the car a bit more difficult to sell for sure. Price, who knows for sure. The car itself, minus the interior, looks good. If that were a complete car I would bet a $3k price tag would not be absurd to ask. Post it up in the Mall with a fair asking price and go from there. I would also recommend taking a picture of the interior pieces you still have as well for others to see.

What you are selling is a project/parts car and with parts missing you will probably get a low price for it. Without an A/C system it makes it even harder to sell. Not trying to be the bearer of bad news but incomplete cars in the 80's era such as this, fit a very small market.

Maybe $500 as it sits, $2000+ if you can put it back together and it runs and drives, probably closer to $3000. So is your time and the parts required worth $2000+ in potential profit, or do you just want it gone?
