Says its an estate liquidation. Anyone know anything about this car? Seems overpriced to me but idk anything about electric converted cars lol.

With the electric motor located up front, I'd be curious what drive train was used to get the power to the rear wheels. I would've thought that putting the electric motor in the back might've been simpler.

I'd rather have all those batteries behind me than in front. The thing must understeer something fierce, though.

I am pretty sure they installed a solid rear axle and just ran a driveshaft to the motor shaft. No precision adapter plate needed. So it might have been easier for them to do it this way vs. designing and machining an adapter plate.

Looks like they installed a belt driven vacuum pump for the brake booster and the other line off the Y fitting might go to cruise control or does ac/ heater coil need a vacuum source? Assuming the black line is the vacuum outlet side.

I suppose handling wasn't a major concern.

I think that solid rear axles have an unfair stigma against them...

My daily driver has a solid rear axle and it's OK. My dad says his solid rear axle 1970 Camaro was pretty much the best-handling car he ever owned (possibly driven).

But your dad's a dinosaur. (Probably around my age.)

A solid rear axle no doubt works just fine while driving in a straight line on smooth pavement. I still have a '78 Z28 Camaro (which I haven't driven for years), but its handling was nothing to get excited about.

A lot is about the rest of what is hooked up and how
