V6 Rod knock (Page 1/1) jaredaltizer APR 27, 02:52 AM I know this isn’t the mall, but i am looking for a stock V6 engine in Arizona as mine has rod knock and the sentimental value of the car forces me to keep it and just replace the engine. I haven’t taken the engine apart yet, but the last it ran, it sounded to have rod knock or atleast a spin rod bearing and I do not know if it’s worth rebuilding. If anyone in the Tucson/Phoenix area preferably, or anywhere in Arizona has a stock V6, I will happily take it off your hands.
