While I like your list this one is factually untrue:

6) Jet Fighters; Power is everything!> > > >ROLL rate is more important

I might have experience with this one...

I am not saying that power is not important- just that roll rate in a dogfight is the ultimate advantage........A-4s beating the crap out of F-14s at Miramar and China Lake.......the A-4 has a roll rate of around 720 degrees/Second...Only other military plane that matches that is the T-38/F-5.......And the F-16, although artificially limited because of....Pilot disorientation!

The F-14 pilots would go to the fighter school (full of themselves) and the Instructors are in old, antiquated A-4s.....A-4s in a dogfight can kick azz. F-14 on your tail- Snap left pull a half second, snap right pull, snap left pull....While the A-4 has zigzagged and slowed the F-14 has only wobbled his wings.....so now the A-4 is behind the F-14....

I probably should qualify that original statement with "In a dogfight"......By the way, I was on the USS Coral Sea and happened to read about Cunningham(F-4) vs Tomb(MIG-17) in Vietnam in a Air Classics magazine....and then found out that Randy Cunningham was aboard in charge of the Black knights squadron...Got to meet him....(Obviously this was before his political career/scandal.....)

Just prove author has interest in other brands and he is up for deformation. Must have overlooked safety checks to come up with it.

I’m amazed the early model Plymouth Voyager and Dodge Caravan didn’t even make the list. It was on 60
Minutes years ago because the problem was so bad! I heard quite a few children were ejected out of the rear hatch when bumped from behind. Turned out the electric door popper would click open when jarred with a bump or light impact, sending the kids out the back of the van onto the highway.

Does anyone remember this?? Kit
