Difference between older KYB’s and the newer ones? Just wondering what performance / longevity difference there is. I’m doing the rears on my 85 GT and the ones Rockauto sells is the Excel’s. (Thank you) I had assumed they were physically different. From some of the Youtube videos they are still showing the Excel-G as for original equipment ride and the silver GR-2 silver for more performance handling. The first time I received the Black Excel-G and the 2nd time I got the Silver GR-2. I didn't noticed any difference besides the color.
